After years of public cat-fights it seems superstar songstress Lady Gaga and X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne have detracted their polished claws after G-A-Y rendezvous.
The pair met unexpectedly on Saturday night after being put in the same VIP area backstage at the legendary London club.
Heading the bill was Lady Gaga, who decided also to put on a performance, stripping naked to perform an impromptu rendition of new single Venus, stunning thousands of party-goers.
Osbourne, 61 had shown up in the capacity of dedicated ex-mentor to support her rejected X Factor act Shelley Smith, who was to perform there that night.
But on-lookers were (disappointingly) spared a vicious battle of wits as the two reportedly took some time to sit together and talk over their issues, instead of engaging in one of their frequent, brutal slagging matches.
Since the 2012 Grammys the pair have been heard often to exchange cutting remarks, stemming from Sharon's daughter, Kelly Osbourne, implying that Gaga was covering up a pregnancy. Since then it has been all she-said she-said with accusations of bullying and double standards.
However, it seems the time has come for a reconciliation.
Gaga tweeted her 40.3 million followers following her meet with Sharon and her bare naked performance. Had an amazing night tonight at G-A-Y in London. After all these years you continue to inspire me. Can’t wait for X-Factor tomorrow night! (sic)’
No mention of nasty Sharon, meaning that we can only assume no blood was shed. Long may the peace continue.
