US Businessman Claims $25m Reward for Finding Bin Laden

A 63 year old American businessman is attempting to claim the $25 million dollar reward for successfully providing the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden.

Tom Lee gave the exact location where the US Navy Seal team killed and extracted Bin Laden in 2011. The only snag being he gave this information in 2003.

Lee claims that a close family friend and employee in the Pakistan intelligence services passed on the information that Bin Laden was being held in a compound in Abbottabad having himself escorted him there from Peshawar earlier that year. Believing this information to be credible, Lee immediately informed the FBI and US Customs agents.

Undoubtedly the US intelligence services would have been inundated with false Bin Laden sightings in 2003.

Is it really believable that no one would not have followed up on a sighting from a confirmed source from within the Pakistani intelligence services (ISI)? If they had done, would they have found Bin Laden comfortably tucked up, safe and housed within walking distance of the Pakistani military academy?

Disturbingly, this would open the possibility that some elements within the US government, or at least the intelligence community, have known the whereabouts of Bin Laden and about the complicity of the Pakistani ISI in hiding him since 2003.

Many people believe that Bin Laden has always been a US nominated figure head for the global war on terror despite his own involvement post 911 being limited or non-existent. Was Bin Laden hidden from the world to keep alive the idea of a snake’s head that could one day be cut off? Could this be better than facing the reality that fundamentalist terrorism was the legacy of decades of flawed foreign policy and an international virus with no one element in control?

Regardless whether the US knew from 2003 or knew for a few months before, Bin Laden was executed in 2011 in exactly the location Tom Lee provided the FBI with in 2003.

Mr Lee’s lawyer wrote to the FBI director James Comey in August claiming, “Mr Lee precisely identified the whereabouts of the most notorious terrorist of our era.”

“It disturbs me, and it should disturb every American, that I told them exactly where bin Laden was in 2003, and they let him live another eight years,’ Mr Lee told the Grand Rapids Press.

As yet the FBI have failed to reply to Mr Lee and he continues to seek his $25 Million reward through the legal system.

Hopefully this will go to court and some random spokesperson that draws the short straw will have to explain what they did with this information. More likely they will just pay double to shut him up.
