Exposing the hottest in upcoming UK music talent to students via daytime performances in the non-alcohol environment of University coffee shops, Coffee House Sessions provides promotion for the showcased artists through student media outlets such as student newspapers, student radio and student TV at each university.

Curator Huw Stephens says:
“Student unions and the student touring scene have always been a really important way for new bands to get exposure and build the all-important early fan base. Now that the traditional student activity of evenings boozing in The Students’ Union’ bar has changed, The Coffee House Sessions are a great way for those bands to still reach their core audience. The quality of the artists is all important and there’s no shortage of quality new acts i want to introduce to the students”

Kerri Watt says:
"It's an honour for me to be involved in something so refreshing that gives incredible exposure to young, aspiring musicians. The opportunity to reach out to young people in so many cities in such a short space of time is invaluable. The non alcohol environment in which the gigs will be set will be a welcome change to me and the other artists as so often we are faced with rowdy clubs full of people who wouldn't even catch your name if they wanted to over the noise.”

Have a listen to some of the acts performing.
