Facebook Flavoured Ice-Cream

Log on to Facebook. Like Facebook. Find it almost inhumanly difficult to leave Facebook. But LICK Facebook? I should very much doubt it! Except no, because a couple of lads in Croatia have begun selling Facebook flavoured ice-cream.

There is it there. Doesn't look much like Facebook. For a start there's no baby pictures on it. It's the creation of the Valentino Ice Cream shop on Murter island in Croatia, and is made with Vanilla ice cream and blue syrup. And evil. Obviously.

Admir Adil, one of the founders of the store and inventor of the flavour, says he noticed his young daughter checking Facebook more often than a lonely man checks his phone in the pub, and decided that he could somehow make money from this.

They charge 1 Euro for a scoop in a waffle cone, which is a bloody good deal, and it tastes like sugary sweets and bubble gum rather than sick. The only thing that makes is Facebook Flavoured is the logo they stick it in the tub, and I suspect that as soon as Zuckerberg and his squadron of lawyers get wind of it the whole shop will be Facebook flavour because they'll own it.

The Adil's are currently working on other social networking flavours, such as Twitter flavour which is only 140 calories but you can't stop eating it all day, StumbleUpon flavour which is made up of all the leftover bits from other tubs and an InstaGram sauce which makes everything taste sort of grainy.
