An American man was caught plotting the murder of a former employee when he accidentally butt-dialed his intended victim.
Larry Barnett, of Jonesboro Arkansas, faces murder charges after plotting to kill a former employee.
The 68 year old not only made the mistake of calling his target, he also gave away his motive for doing so and potential ways in which he could kill him, in a call lasting half an hour.
Apparently, Barnett's reason for wanting to the murder committed was; "I owe the little son of a bitch a bunch of money and if he's gone, I don't have to pay it."
Barnett said; "I don't care if you have to burn his house to the ground with him in it. I don't care what you have to do, make it look like an accident."
It was during this phone call that the information was traded as to where the former employee lived, where he could be found and when. Luckily the would-be victim took the threat seriously and contacted police. Good thing, too, as he returned home to discover that his home had been burglarized and his stove tampered with.
