Fallout 4 Confirmed (Kind of)

Is the next installment of the Fallout series is in production?

The Fallout rumour mill has been churning for years now, with reports last year that Bethesda had been location scouting around Boston for the next game.

Angry eBay User Receives Free Xbox For Being A Moron

It looks like Santa favours responding to idiots over people who are actually in need. You’ll probably be well-acquainted with the story that broke a few days ago about a disgruntled eBay user that paid £450 for an Xbox One, only to receive a picture of one instead.

What a bummer.

Engine Demo Video For The Division Is Amazing

Wowza! Check out this silky trailer for The Division. Or rather, a massive PR glory bomb for a new game engine that makes real life look shit. Internet, meet Snowdrop.

It’s a cheeky bit of technological porn that has been cobbled together for the express purpose of making your jaw crack the floorboards. The Division is the reason it exists; a new open-world, always online RPG that’s being published by persistent purveyors of excellence, Ubisoft.

Battlefield 4 – Review - XboxOne

Here we go again. Another drab, by-the-book military shooter. Honestly, the world must be tired with this rinse-and-repeat formula that developers use these days. Is anyone stepping up to change how games are played? Perhaps lower down the echelons they are, but up at the top with the likes of Call of Duty the train has been stuck at the same station for some time.

Christmas Tinner; Christmas Dinner in a Can for Serious Gamers

It’s December and that means it’s nearly Christmas. And that means one thing and one thing only. Every other company will be bringing out some kind of novelty Christmas product.

Most of them will be half-arsed or simply an existing product with a snowman scrawled on the front. But a few will be original, hilarious, even actually worth buying (although you may find a lot of the half-arsed ones in your stocking or Secret Santa gifts).

Should You Buy an Xbox One?

At last! Next-gen is here. It’s been a long time coming; the swirling vortex of rumours engulfed us all for months on end. Speculation was rife right up until Sony and Microsoft yanked the curtain off of their shiny new devices earlier this year.

And now, with the PlayStation 4 finally hitting UK shores, you are presented with a big decision; do you side with Microsoft or Sony? A question that, if asked online, would no doubt cause the internet to implode into a vacuum of ravenous fanboy warfare, mum jokes included. Sack that, I’m here to help. Sort of. I may not have both consoles, but I’ve had one for a week now so have gotten use to what it’s like to live with, how it performs and what it holds for the future.

PS4 Beats Xbox One in Initial Sales

It's official: the PS4 is winning the console war. In the UK at least.

It was reported yesterday that over 250,000 units were sold within 48 hours of it's release on the 29th November, making it the fastest-selling console ever in the UK. That equates to around £87m.

Lindsay Lohan to Sue Rockstar for Portraying Her in GTAV

Everyone knows that GTAV was one of the highest grossing video games of all time, making more money than the Catholic church and Richard Branson combined (most made up fact ever). But now it seems like Rockstar may be about to be sued for a piece of that massive pie by none other than Lindsay Lohan (Two halves of the twins in the Parent Trap, and then some mug shots when she got older).

Forza Motorsport 5 - Reviewed

What better way to kick-start the genesis of your new console than to release a new entry in one of your flagship franchises during the oft-criticised launch period?

That’s exactly what Microsoft have done; they’ve recruited wizards of the raceway Turn 10 Studios to create yet another exquisite entry in the Forza Motorsport series which has launched alongside its parent console the world over.

Temple Run... The Movie

Just when you thought Hollywood had run out of ideas, what with those movies based on Marriage websites being greenlit and every board game on Earth getting optioned for screen (I'd pay to see a film about Pop-Up Pirate I think), but despair no more! Warner Bros, the studio behind The Dark Knight and Man of Steel, have just put ink on the deal to bring popular iPhone game Temple Run to theaters.

Temple Run. The Movie.

That will be a thing soon.

Xbox vs PS4

From the November Edition - Out Now
Words by Gazz Wood

Christmas is coming, the goose has got 100% on GTA V and can’t log in to multiplayer online. He needs something else to do and he hasn’t got long before someone kills and eats him. Luckily for the goose in this strained metaphor, the XBOX One and PS4 are both released pre-Christmas so he can while away his final hours playing Titanfall. Or Infamous: Second Son, depending on the console he gets.

Batman: Arkham Origins Review

Like many nerds with money to burn, I pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Origins ages ago and as such my forward planning was rewarded when the slightly angry looking postman dropped it off this morning; the day of release.

If you’re not familiar with the franchise, Batman: Arkham Something is now three games (this new one being the third) and has been showered with so many awards you’d think the CEO of Warner Bros Games was Adele. You play The Goddamn Batman as you zip around an island asylum and then an Escape of LA style city-based prison, punching criminals in their turkey faces and growling.

New Game Teaches You About Dying in a Car Crash

Grand Theft Auto, and to a lesser extent Saints Row, has spent a good 15 years teaching you that barrelling at full whack into a bollard, lamppost or lady of the night is a perfectly fine and ultimately consequence free way to spend your time. This is not the case, because as you may not realise car crashes can actually be quite dangerous. Just ask the Yellow Power Ranger. PS – You can’t, she died in a car crash.

ROCKSTAR TO GIVE ALL GTAV ONLINE PLAYERS $500K

Eulogy to Tom Clancy

The literary world was dealt a devastating blow this week as Tom Clancy, the author of hard hitting espionage novels such as The Sum Of All Fears, passed away near his home in Maryland aged 66.

Rockstar Confirm Micro-Payments for GTAV Online

If you've been conscious in the world for the last few weeks, you've noticed GTA V. It made over a billion dollars in a week and literally the only thing any human with language skills will talk about. Or sign about. All that, and the online section of the game isn't even live yet. GTA Online promises the same massively open world as the single player, but populated by bell-ends calling you a n00b and running you down with a bus that says COCK on the side.
